Aluminum tuning fork 256 Hz is used to perform diagnostic tests of a patient’s hearing capacity. The tuning fork is essential to perform Rinne and Weber acumetry, allowing the diagnosis of transmission hearing loss and sensorineural hearing loss.
To make the tuning fork sound, take the instrument by its stem with one hand and strike one of the branches of the tuning fork.
Especially useful for the areas of audiology, otorhinolaryngology, neurology or otoneurology. The utensil is made of aluminium.
