The ANA 4 Typodont is designed for preclinical learning of endodontic therapy and other dental treatments.
The type of articulator that it includes, can be opened and fixed in a phantom in any position, it also includes the position of maximum opening, in addition to allowing a variety of occlusal movements. Typodonts are the preclinical learning systems that most closely approximate the student to the real clinical situation.
This can be used in the preclinical teaching of the different fields of odonto-stomatological action: endodontics, surgery, periodontics, operative, prosthetics, etc.
This typodont, as it can be made by the student himself, has the advantage of exercising him in the handling of different materials and instruments and in different therapeutic techniques.
