• #1 for mandibular central and lateral incisors (the smallest).
• #2 for central and lateral incisors. maxillary laterals. Maxillary and mandibular canines.
• #3 for premolars.
• #4 for molars.
• #5 for anchor teeth (larger).

The oral cavity must be observed before making the holes to adapt them to the patient’s specific dentition. A space of 3 to 3.5 mm is maintained between the holes. The rubber dam perforator must be cleaned, bagged individually or placed in an instrument tray for sterilization.
